Satan's Strategies

Jesus described Satan as being a murderer and a liar since the rebellion in the Garden of Eden. He also said that he comes like a thief to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10). It is no surprise therefore that his tactics are those listed by John Piper in his Desiring God blog [Source: htpps//www.desiringgod.org/articles/satans-ten-strategies-against-you.]
  1. Satan lies and is the father of lies
  2. He blinds the minds of unbelievers
  3. He masquerades as an angel of light and righteousness
  4. He enables his agents to perform counterfeit signs and wonders to deceive, even the elect if that were possible
  5. He tempts people to sin (at all three levels of body, soul and spirit)
  6. He plucks the truth of God's Word out of people's hearts and chokes faith
  7. He is the author of some sickness and diseases
  8. He is a murderer (responsible for the death of God's children through persecution and accidents)
  9. He opposes the plans of missionaries
10. He accuses Christians before God

Satan's Attacks At Personal, Local & Global levels

Satan's strategy involves attacks not just at the personal level of the individual but also against the local church and at the global level. At each level the warfare is both natural and supernatural, as we have seen in the Old Testament and in The Warfare Is Intensifying
